We enjoy providing the Missoula community and surrounding area decades of gardening enjoyment with our quality, handcrafted cedar garden boxes. Through years of trial and error we have an acquired knowledge of what works and what doesn't work. One cubic foot of dirt averages approximately one hundred pounds, so a poorly constructed garden box won't last for long!

Customize your garden box to meet your needs

We build two different models of garden boxes.
The first one has no floor and is designed to sit directly on your planting surface (we call these 'ground boxes'). Standard height is twelve inches, but we can make the boxes deeper upon request for an additional charge. Our inventory sizes are:

2'x4' -4'x4'
2'x6' -4'x6'
2'x6' -4'x8'
3'x6'
3'x8'

Our second model has a floor and legs, making the overall height 35', or counter height (we call these our 'raised boxes'). Given the above-referenced soil weight, we take great care in ensuring that the substructure will support the weight. You know what it weighs dry, can you imagine what it weighs when you add water? Our inventory sizes are:

2'x6' -3'x8'
2'x8'
